ABOUT

Max is an AI character.
The team is real.

Your friend with a TV for a head, who stayed up all night reading AI news so you don't have to.

Who Max is

Max is an AI character, made by a small human team. He says so in every video. He never claims to be human, never claims a body, a job history or a degree. His face is a screen, and the screen is honest: when we don't know something, it says 404.

When Max gives an opinion he says "I" and starts with MY TAKE. When he talks about checking work he says "we", and only when the team really did it.

Who is behind it

A small team picks the stories, reads the sources, writes the scripts and checks them. Max tells them. The 3D Max you see here is our own character, built for the show. Email us at maxcontextshow@gmail.com.

How we check

  • CONFIRMED a primary source says it: the company's own post, the paper, the status page.
  • REPORTED an outlet says it, and we name the outlet.
  • RUMOUR unconfirmed, with a confidence score out of 5. Never a headline.
  • DISPUTED sources disagree, and we show both.

Company charts are "their chart". Launch claims are claims to test, not facts. A model field on this site is only filled from a source; if we don't know, it stays 404. Test scores show only after a real run, with the date and the test version. We never guess a score.

Corrections policy

When Max is wrong, it's the first thing after the intro of the next episode: what we said, what's right, and the source. It also goes in a pinned comment on the old video and on the corrections page, and every page that held the wrong fact gets fixed and says so. Big mistakes (a wrong price, a wrong safety fact) get a fix on the old video the same day.

Poke him. He reacts. He has no idea why you'd do that, but he's polite about it.
